Data export
The Export > Data command from the File menu is used to export tables and queries to common file formats (Excel and CSV). Another possibility is to export data via Clipboard via table window.
- Several tables can be exported in one export process.
- If Excel is selected as the output format, the tables or queries can be exported to separate spreadsheets of an Excel file or to separate files - check mark at Create single files. In addition, you can determine here whether a Overview page with short information about the export is created and whether you want to use a set Table filter.
- If you select text file as output format, you can set separator, number format and text delimiter.
- If you choose Report, the data of a report will be exported (see Reports / Data Link).
Note: When you export data from reports, only the data tables contained in the report are exported, not the maps contained in the report.
File name with or without text macros
After selecting the file format and the tables and clicking on Next, you will be asked to enter the storage location and the file name. Here it is possible to use text macros in the file name
File name for several tables to be exported
The specified file name serves only as a template, the respective table name is automatically appended to the file name. For reports, the table name, structure name, number and name of the territory are automatically added to the file name.
You can also delete the file name (.xslx must be kept) and the tables will be exported only with the table name in easymap.
