Inserting Objects
You can insert objects on a sheet easily via Drag&Drop from the various Control windows. The objects are inserted and displayed directly on the sheet in the preset size.
You can also use the Insert menu to insert new sheets, maps and objects. After selecting the appropriate object, click a location on the sheet where you want to insert the object.
If objects are copied and then pasted on a new sheet or in a new workbook, you should note the following notes.
Inserting content from the clipboard
Using the command Paste Contents... in the menu Edit, you can paste content from the clipboard in a self-determined format onto a sheet in easymap.
If you want to use texts, images, objects or tables from other programs or the Internet in easymap, you can use these functions to define the formatting.
- Cut or copy the content you want to insert from the source.
- Select from the menu Edit the command Insert contents...
- A dialog opens in which you can specify the format in which the content from the clipboard is to be pasted. For example, to keep a copied text in its original format, select Formatted Text here.
- Click on the sheet where you want to insert the object.
- On the easymap sheet a RTF-text element is inserted afterwards.
