font dialog
The font dialog can be accessed via Properties a layer with labels. The font settings can always be found under Labelling > Labelling. If you click next to Font on the button with the three dots, the font dialog opens. Here you can set the font and font size.
- In contrast to other applications, easymap is not limited to integer font sizes. So you can choose e.g. 7.5 as font size.
- As in all Windows applications, the font size is specified in Point (abbreviation pt).
- Postscript point or typographic point: Size used for font sizes ("font size") or line widths. 1 pt = 1/72 inch (inch)
- 1 point = 0.35 millimetres or 1 centimetre ≈ 28 point
Note: The font cannot be changed for individual map elements/labels belonging to map layers. Different fonts can only be realized by using Display types or a text analysis.
Edit several different fonts
If several font settings are edited at once (multiselection), the different part settings are not assigned. If, for example, a font Arial 8 Point and Arial 12 Point is included in the selection, the font Arial is selected, but not the size. If you now select a size, it will be applied to all edited fonts.
If you want to increase or decrease the size of the different fonts while keeping the differences in font size, use the buttons and . Each click enlarges or reduces all fonts by 1 point.
