Raster maps (GeoTIFF)
easymap can also use georeferenced raster maps in the GeoTIFF (*.tiff) format. However, these cannot be linked to data or used for analysis. Georeferenced raster maps can therefore only be used to supplement other visualizations.
GeoTIFF files are available both in the Base Maps control window (under Raster Maps (GeoTIFF)) and in the Objects control window (under Raster Map/Image).
Properties
You can access the properties of the inserted raster maps via the control window Content.
| Source | |
| graphic file | The path to the graphic file, this can be changed to another graphic file using the button with the three dots. |
| Embed image | Use this setting to specify whether the graphic should be embedded in the map folder or not. Embedded graphics are independent of the source, as they become part of the map folder. Large graphics should not be embedded, as they can be loaded more efficiently if they are not part of the map folder. |
| Colors | |
| Transparent Color | Set the transparency color for the graphic here. This allows you to place the graphic over other layers without completely covering the layer below it. |

Caption and Editability |
Specify a name here to be able to find the element more quickly in the Contents control window. For analyses, maps or sheets, you should use a name that contains the topic. EasyMap assigns generic names for new elements (e.g. map 1). If you do not change these, you will later have great difficulty in finding certain content in workbookn. |
