produce reports

The comfort function produce reports allows you to quickly output maps and data of the created report. You can access this function either via the File > Export menu or via the context menu of the reports in the control window Contents.

  • First select the report to be produced from the list (only necessary if the function was selected via the menu File).

Specify the storage location of the report output and the scope of the report:

  • In the window that appears, you can specify the output directory in the General section. Here, you can also specify whether the output directory should be displayed afterwards and the folder opened.
  • In the Scope section, you can specify whether, in addition to the charts (Graphics export), the tables (Data export) should also be output directly.

Set the data format

In the next window, start by setting the parameters for the data export.

  • You can choose between excel workbooks (*.xslx, *.xls) and text files (*.csv).
  • If Excel is selected as the output format, the tables or queries can be exported to separate spreadsheets of an Excel file or to separate files - check the box Create individual files.
  • If you select text file as output format, you can set separator, number format and text delimiter.
  • In addition, you can determine whether an overview page with short information about the export is generated and whether you want to use a set table filter.

  • Clicking on Next will first export the data.

Set the image format

In the next window, start by setting the parameters for the graph export.

  • You can choose from the following file formats: *.tif (including georeferenced files), *.jpg, *.pdf, *.png, *.emf, *.bmp and *.xps.

  • The size of the image depends on the resolution in dpi and the respective width and height in pixels or cm.
  • Clicking on Finish exports the graphics to the output directory.
